Apples are one of Canada’s most produced fruits, coming in only second to blueberries. Since different varieties of apples are available all year round, you can make this healthy treat at any time. Using simple ingredients, you’ve got a snack everyone will love.
2 apples of choice (see chart)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp sour cherry preserve
1 tbsp Greek honey
Remove the stem and core of your apples. Peel and slice them into thin slices. Arrange apples onto a serving plate and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place yoghurt in the center of the arranged apples. Drizzle the plate with honey and dot the sour cherry preserve throughout.
Use the apples to scoop up the yoghurt and cherries. Serves 2.
