Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is a must for any Thanksgiving dinner. While it is easy to open a can and serve some, it is just as easy to make your own. Just three simple ingredients is all it takes. Make it ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 14 days.

Ingredients
1 package cranberries
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Place all the ingredients in a pot and stir together. Simmer under medium heat until all the cranberries pop or split (about 10 minutes). Place in a serving bowl and allow to set. The juices will thicken as the cranberry sauce cools.

Makes 2 cups.
